"The band have recently completed their new album 'Green Reign' (A 10 track album) which was officially launched on November the 6th 2010 at the RoadHouse in Manchester.

The 'record' chronicles the band from their early musical influences through to a shift in direction, that experience and time has 'matured' their over all sonic output. Concieved and produced throughout the middle months of 2010, the album captures the issues and worries of modern life while a northern working class routine is never too far away. The dynamics of the album range from insectiod guitars and rock anthem drum beats to dancing bass lines and heart felt lyrics carried by a truely believable vocal. This band consists of members of, and also delivers music to members of... The Public. These boys are real, like many manchester bands before them and I am sure this is what people really want to hear in times such as these. - Dennis D'Arc (Music Promoter)

In addition to this, on Monday the 10th January 2011 the band appeared on the 'Ripman Show', a regular feature of the Manchester Online Radio Station; which often draws in a crowd of approximately 16.000 listeners. Hopefully this will secure some more coverage of the The Public in their home town regions and further a field.

Further more, as the band has developed in an artistic sense and time is becoming more precious, the need for background organisation has become so apparent that the band have enlisted the useful help of Graham Jones as part of their band management, where as I will continue to be the artisic direction in regards to the band's visiual projects and manage other admin areas.

As the New Year proceeds, more gigs for 2011 are rolling in and the guys look forward to seeing all their fans at their gigs throughout the new year and beyond (see gig guide for regular new dates)."
